Web App Tour
A walkthrough of the main sections of the Neurako web app at app.neurako.com.
Last updated 2026-05-23
The Neurako web app lives at app.neurako.com. From the dashboard you can see your study streak, due card counts, and start a review session with one click. The sidebar gives you access to your decks, card creation tools, analytics, and account settings.
Key Takeaways
- The web app is at app.neurako.com — bookmark it or install it as a PWA - Start studying from the dashboard ("Study All Due") or from a specific deck - Use the Create section for AI generation, file uploads, and image capture - Full analytics dashboard requires a Pro plan
Dashboard
The dashboard is the first screen after signing in. It shows you the most important information at a glance:
- Study streak: consecutive days you've completed at least one review session
- Cards due today: total due count across all your decks
- "Study All Due" button: starts a combined review session with every card currently due, pulling from all decks at once
- Recent decks: quick links to the decks you've studied most recently, each showing their individual due counts
If you have no cards due, the dashboard shows your next scheduled review time and suggests creating new cards.
Decks
The Decks section lists all your decks with their current due counts and card totals.
Browsing your decks:
- Decks are listed with their name, total card count, and how many cards are due right now
- Click any deck to open the deck detail view
Inside a deck:
- Card state breakdown: how many cards are New, Learning, Review, or Relearning
- Next due count and scheduled review times
- Study options: Study Now (FSRS-scheduled review), Cram (review all cards regardless of due date), Quiz (multiple-choice format)
- Card list: browse individual cards, edit or delete them, see FSRS state per card
Creating a new deck:
- Click the "+ New Deck" button at the top of the Decks page or in the sidebar
Create
The Create section is where you add new cards to your decks. It offers several input methods:
Text / AI generation: Type a topic description or paste source material (notes, definitions, vocabulary lists). The AI generates draft cards for you to review before saving.
AI Deck Wizard: Enter a topic name or upload a file. The Wizard generates a full draft deck — title, description, and cards — which you review and save as a new deck.
Image upload: Upload a photo of a textbook page, whiteboard, slide, or handwritten notes. The AI reads the image and extracts cards from the content.
In all cases, you review the generated cards in a preview step before they're saved. You can edit, delete, or add cards during this review step.
The AI Deck Wizard accepts PDF, Markdown, TXT, CSV, and DOCX files. Upload course notes or a chapter outline to generate a full deck without typing. The file upload path is web-only; mobile uses camera capture instead.
Study sessions
Study sessions on web work the same as on mobile:
- A card appears face-down — only the question is visible
- Click or press Space to flip the card and reveal the answer
- Rate your recall: Again (1), Hard (2), Good (3), Easy (4)
- The next card appears immediately
Before you rate a card, Neurako shows a small interval preview — the estimated time until you'll see this card again for each rating option (e.g., "Good → 4d"). This helps you calibrate your rating.
Undo: If you rated a card by mistake, you can undo the last rating and re-rate it before moving to the next card.
Session end: After all due cards are reviewed, you see a session summary: cards reviewed, time spent, and rating distribution.
Analytics and Insights
Access from the sidebar or from a deck's detail view.
The Insights section shows:
- Mastery over time: how your card states (New / Learning / Review) have shifted
- Workload forecast: estimated due cards for the next 7–30 days
- Rating distribution: breakdown of Again / Hard / Good / Easy across your sessions
- Deck-level stats: per-deck retention estimates
The full analytics dashboard — including workload forecast, detailed mastery charts, and FSRS retention tracking — requires a Pro plan. Free plan users see basic session summaries and deck card counts.
Settings
Settings are accessible from the sidebar or your account menu (top right).

- Daily goal: set a target number of cards to review per day
- FSRS personalization: adjust desired retention, maximum interval, and re-optimize FSRS weights based on your review history (Pro only)
